How often would you recommend I weigh myself?

For many, the scales can trigger emotions and therefore emotional eating, no matter when they show. We encourage podders who find the scales can trigger emotional eating to put the scales away.

There are other more holistic and less triggering ways to see how your body is changing. You can try on the same piece of clothing at regular intervals, or cut a piece of ribbon around your circumference at different points and then wrap this around yourself to see if the ends meet at different places. 

Of course, if the scales are a helpful tool for you, then there is no "right" answer to this question - do what's right for you!
